Motion Picture Screenwriter, Producer. He started with a journalist career in Brooklyn and Manhattan, New York City, New York before entering the motion pictures in 1914. He wrote a number of screenplays for comedian John Bunny and also wrote for Fox, Universal and Warner Brother Movie studios using the name "Leslie S. Barrows". He also produced the films "Swiss Family Robinson" (1940), "Tom Brown's School Days" (1940), "Little Men" (1940), and "Valley of the Sun" (1942).
