Bonnie Porter, a life time Paducah resident passed away Monday, December 26, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, Dec 29, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Paducah
with her son Pastor Steve Porter officiating. Interment will follow at the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McBee Family Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Garden of Memories Cemetery, PO Box 805, Paducah TX 79248.

Bonnie was born Sept 30, 1921 in Duncan OK to Arthur and Sarah Holt. She was the 13th born in a family of 14 children. In 1923 her family moved to Paducah where she received her early education and
met and married the love of her life Luther Lee Porter.

Bonnie would want to be remembered for being a devoted wife, mother and care giver. She worked hard
at caring for her husband, home and raising her children and grandchildren. She catered to their every need.

Being a devout Christian gave great meaning to her life. She loved her Lord and her family. Her outlook on life was that the Lord would prevail over all the trials and tribulations that life brought her way. She was a very quiet, gentle and meek woman.

In her quiet time she would sew or read with a passion. She also enjoyed working on arts & crafts.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Luther Lee Porter, all 13 of her siblings and
2 grandchildren - Rachel Miracle and Lukas Taylor.
She is survived by her daughter Annette James of Seymour, TX
4 sons - Tim Porter of Lubbock, Jim Porter of Lubbock, Talmadge Porter of Childress and Stephen Porter of Pampa, 16 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
