Actor. One of the best versatile character actors of his time, he appeared on drama radio and on stage in Montreal before going into films. His many movie credits included "The Good Campanions" (1933), "Kidnapped" (1948), "Cowboy and the Indians" (1949), "Three Came Home" (1950), "Loose in London" (1953), "The War of the Worlds" (1953) and "The Girl Can't Help It" (1956).
