A Shelton man who was critically injured in a one-vehicle crash on Dec. 17 has died.

Kyle Gilliland, 25, died Friday at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha.
He was injured when he lost control of the 1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass he was driving near 92nd Street and Sweetwater Avenue. He was the vehicle's lone occupant.
The Buffalo County Sheriff's Office reported the eastbound car struck an embankment, went airborne, hit a utility pole and eventually came to rest on its wheels. The exact time of the crash is unknown. Gilliland was initially transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, but later was taken to UNMC.
A fundraiser, with a silent auction and drawings, for Gilliland's family is planned at noon Jan. 2 at the American Legion in Gibbon.
