"Scott L. Marks, 46, of Leola, formerly of New York, NY, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2011. He was a retired police officer for the New York City Police Dept. Mr. Marks was a Captain in the Upper Leacock Fire Company, Leola, PA and was a past EMT at Warwick Ambulance.
He is survived by: his wife, Andrea Schlossman Marks, Ephrata; his children, Megan Marks, Colorado, Vanessa Marks, Jaclyn Marks and Matthew Marks, all of Pottstown, Mariah Marks, Ephrata; a granddaughter, Jade; his father, Donald married to Hannah Marks, NY, NY; his mother, Peggy Peeters, Virginia; his sister, Meredith wife of Richard Bader, Purcellville, Virginia. He was preceded in death by two children, Cailynn and Marissa.
The funeral will be Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011 at 2 p.m. from the Worship Center, 2384 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 with a viewing from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
