Mrs. Estle E. Ricketts, 69, 1102 W. First St., wife of Loyd A. Ricketts, died at Ball Hospital early Friday morning after an extended illness.
She was born in Sims, Ind., and had been a resident of Muncie for the past 30 years. Mrs. Ricketts was a member of Women of the Moose at Wabash.
Surviving besides the husband are two grandchildren, Mrs. Carol Cooper, Muncie, and Joe Helser, Shelbyville; and nine great-grandchildren; a stepdaughter, Mrs. George Hasselbrink, Salida, Colo.; a brother, Alva Adams, California; and a sister, Mrs. Opal Easterday, Wabash.
Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Meeks Mortuary with Rev. Verdean Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary anytime after noon on Sunday and prior to the services on Monday.
