Paul was born Jan. 12, 1917, at Kuna, Idaho, the son of Ellison and Dora Alice Holloway. Paul was a farmer all his life, along with milking a small number of cows. He resided on the same half mile road for 70 years of his life. He and his wife, Clara Belle, were lifetime members of the Appleton Grange. Paul had a love for dogs and horses and always had both on the farm until his later years when he just had his dog and his mule, Maggie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Belle; his son, James Clinton; his brothers, Irvin and Ed; and his sister, Mary Edwards. Paul is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Judy and James R. Chapin of Twin Falls; his grandchildren, Melinda and Kevin Klimes of Hailey, and Scott and Denise Chapin of Twin Falls; his great-grandchildren, Danielle Chapin of Boise, and Paul and Annamari Klimes of Hailey; his sisters, Jean and Lloyd Mathews of Wenachee, Wash., and Charlotte and Don Childers of Wendell; his sister-in-law, Wilma Searle of Twin Falls; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at Hove-Robertson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in the Jerome Cemetery in Jerome.
