Mr. Weis was born Nov. 5, 1925, in Glendale. He worked in the trucking industry; leather industry, and merchandising.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Frank and Emma Ida (Walle) Weis.
Survivors include a brother, Francis V. of Salina; a sister, Ellen A. (Weis) Woolet of Grand Prairie, Texas; a niece, Marilyn Kay Jerden and Husband, Keith of Grand Prairie, Texas; great nieces, Shannon Michelle Bell and husband, Frank Andrew, Heather Lynnette Anderson and husband, Rodney Earl; a great-great-niece, Marissa Camille Mata; great-great-nephews, Nicolas Jerden Mata, Aaron Blake Anderson, Andrew Peyton Anderson, Addison Evans Anderson.
The memorial service was held Monday at Roselawn Heights Memorial Chapel, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina KS 67401.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, The Salina Regional Hospital or The Salvation Army.
There will be no visitation. Roselawn Mortuary, 1307 S. Santa Fe., Salina KS 67401, handled arrangements.
