Lynn Ray Gilgen, 43, of Inkom and former Malad resident, passed away April 20, 1992 at Pocatello, Idaho. He was born August 15, 1948, at Logan, Utah, a son of Lynn K. and Carol Evans Gilgen. He was raised in Malad and graduated from Malad High School in 1966. He had been employed by Union Pacific Railroad for 23 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, and camping, family and good friends.
He married Pamela Lishon January 5, 1968. They were later divorced.
Survivors include his parents of Malad; his wife Jeanne of Inkom; two sons; Danny Ray Gilgen, and Troy Dean Gilgen of Pocatello; a daughter, Connie Lyn Gilgen of McCammon, and a step-daughter, Kelli Shaw of Reno; a sister, Mrs. Sherman (Judy) Vaughan of McCammon; a brother, Brent D. Gilgen of Boise; and a grandson, Justin Ray Gilgen of Pocatello.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 24, 1992, at Marsh Valley Funeral Home in Arimo. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening, April 23, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior services.
Concluding rites will be held at the Malad City Cemetery.
