Tony Stevenson, 54, of Johnson Mill Road died Thursday, August 4, 2011 in Hopkins County as a result of a bushhog accident.
Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2011 at Hughart & Beard Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, KY with the Rev. Butch McKnight and Rev. William Pierce officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A native of Christian County, KY he was born March 5, 1957 the son of the late James Ray Stevenson and Kathern Nell Hendricks Stevenson. He was currently employed by Clay Mohon Mowing. Prior to that he worked for Jeff Lacy Mowing and U.S. Tobacco. He was a member of Little River Baptist Church and had attended By the Wayside Baptist Mission.
Survivors include his wife: Cassie Stevenson; his son: Justyn Stevenson of Hopkinsville; two daughters: Allie Hartsfield and Erin Brooks both of the home; two brothers: J.C. Stevenson and Austin Stevenson both of Herndon, KY; three sisters: Mrs. Bobby "Kay" Frances of Hopkinsville, KY, Mrs. Lynn "Barbara" Dulin of Crofton, KY, and Mrs. Jack "Janet" Grace of Hopkinsville, KY.
