Arthur D. Allen Jr., 67, Kansas City, KS died Wed at Bethany Medical Center. He was a lifelong KCKS resident. Mr. Allen was an engineer 37 years for the Missouri Pacific RR before he retired in 1979. He was a member of the United Transportation union and the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. He was a member of the WY Masonic Lodge. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Winifred Allen of the home; two daughters. Mrs. Sally Jo Manczuk, Springfield, MO., and Mrs. Sharon Grable, KC KS; two stepsons, David Dawley, Independence, and Earl E. Dawley, KC KS; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Sherry Pearce, Warsaw, MO; a sister Mrs. Margaret Mitchell, Sacramento., CA and 10 grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Sat at the Porter Chapel, where Masonic services also will be held; cremation. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kansas Lung Association.
