Mr. Faycosh was born Sept. 17, 1925, in Frederick, Colo., a son of Joseph and Nellie Faycosh. He grew up and received his education in Colorado, graduated from Frederick High School and later attended the Heald Engineering College in San Francisco, Calif. Upon completion of his education, he served in the United States Navy Air Corps as an A & E mechanic, before receiving his honorable discharge.
Mr. Faycosh and Pearl Kuljis were married on Jan. 4, 1947, in San Francisco. The couple made their home in California, before moving to Colorado, where he worked for the postal service and the Union Pacific Railroad.
In 1970, the couple moved their home to Sheridan, Wyo., where Mr. Faycosh worked as a civil engineer for the Peter Kewit and Sons Construction Company, retiring in 1986. The couple made their retirement home in Miles City in 2002.
Mr. Faycosh enjoyed fishing and goose hunting. However, the joy of his life was his family and grandchildren. He developed many friends in Miles City at Holy Rosary, Friendship Villa, Magic Diamond Casino and the Veterans Hospital.
His survivors include his wife, Pearl of Miles City; his daughter, Ana, and her husband, Skip Powers, of Gillette, Wyo.; his sons, Joe, and his wife. LaDonna. of Laramie, Wyo., Gary, and his wife, Nancy, of Florida and Jeff, and wife, Kathy Faycosh, of Miles City; his sister and her husband, Catherine and Ray Fletcher of Colo.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
His parents and daughter, Elizabeth Clark, preceded Mr. Faycosh in death.
Cremation has taken place in the Bullis-Graves Eastern Montana Crematory.
Private family disposition was held at a later date.
