Abraham's Father, William Albert, came to America from Switzerland and settled in Northamptontown (now Allentown) during the period between 1720 and 1735. He had three sons, two of whom, Abraham and William, were Revolutionery soldiers.
John Albert, the only son of Abraham, moved to Adams County and married Charlotte Catharine Hykes, a daughter of George Hykes.
