THEODORE (TED) ROBERT ROBISON
DEC. 24, 1925 - APRIL 12, 2005

Longtime Sonora resident Ted Robison died April 12, at his home in Sonora. He was 79. Ted was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and was raised in Modesto. After serving in the United States Navy he returned to Modesto where he met Janet (Hume) Robison and they married and raised their family. Upon retirement he and Janet relocated to Sonora in 1988. Ted was always one to do things for others be they family, friends or people in need. As a father of young sons he was active in the Boy Scouts. He was a longtime member of the Elks Club and an enthusiastic volunteer at the Delta Blood Bank for over 20 years. Ted is survived by the love of his life, Janet, his wife of over 57 years; sons Glenn Robison of Modesto and Brian Robison of Sierra Village and a daughter Robin Winton of El Cerrito; a sister Patricia Stewart of Soulsbyville and a brother Glenn Robison of Modesto, as well as six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A memorial and celebration of Ted's life will be held at Sonora Elks Lodge, 100 Elk Dr., Sonora on Friday, April 22 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Delta Blood Bank, P.O. Box 800, Stockton, CA 94201, American Cancer Society, 1604 Ford Avenue, Modesto, CA 95350, or to the charity of your choice. (Modesto Bee, Modesto, CA, April 16, 2005)
