D. Grover Gill, 54 Passes at Residence Near Dexter, Oh
D. Grover Gill , of whose illness Tribune readers have had some knowledge , died at 4:30 this morning at this farm home near Dexter , Langsville, R. D.

It will be difficult for his friends to give credence to the startling news, though he had suffered all winter and Spring from a heart conditions and was treated at two periods at the Holzer Hospital
In His 54th Year
Daniel Grover Gill son of the late J. V. and Carolyn Boster Gill was born on a farm near Northup , August 28, 1886, When five years old he came to Gallipolis with his father wh was then and up till his death in 1910 engaged in the produce business . The son continued in the business and became widely known in produce circles and as a hail-fellow well-met. And at one time he served as mayor , having been elected president of the council and later called to the higher post to fill a vacancy
On October 4, 1914 Mr Gill married Miss Neva Leiman and later engaged in the steamboat business and they moved to Pittsburgh. After the lapse of some years they settled down on the little farm near Dexter where he specialized in Horticultural .
Mrs. Gill survives along with two of the three children born to them
Dan who came home from Marshall College when illness incapacitated his father and who has been looking after the farm and Margaret , who also is a student at Marshall.
There are two sisters, Mrs. Fred B Hashworth of Kenova , WVA and Miss Gertrude Gill of Louisville
Funeral services will be held at Salem Center Church, Burial in Mound Hill Cemetery
