Actress, Dancer. Born Tamara Tumanishvili in in Siberia, she was internationally acclaimed ballerina, known as one of the most glamorous stars of 20th-century dance. As a member of the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, she performed in musicals and operas world wide before marrying Hollwood producer Casey Robinson in 1944. She made her screen debut in "Days of Glory" (1944), followed by appearing in "Tonight We Sing" (1953), "Deep in My Heart" (1954), "Invitation to the Dance" (1955), "Torn Curtain" (1966) and "Private Life of Sherlock Holmes" (1969). In her later years, she taught and consulted dance forums until her death in Beverly Hills, California.
