CADIZ, KENTUCKY — Paul N. Metcalf, 70, of Cadiz died at 8:15 p.m. Friday at his home. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving in Vietnam, a member of the VFW in New York, a bookkeeper and security guard. He is survived by four sons, John Metcalf and Jay Metcalf of Syracuse, N.Y., Paul Metcalf of Charlotte, N.C., and Michael Metcalf of Cadiz; three daughters, Shannon Metcalf, Amber Powers and Taya Metcalf, all of Cadiz; four brothers, Brian Metcalf of Morristown, Tenn., Thomas Metcalf of Camden, N.Y., Gene Metcalf of Hartford, Conn., and Dale Metcalf of Watertown, N.Y.; one sister, Susan Metcalf of Watertown, N.Y.; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Louise Metcalf. His parents were Paul Orla Metcalf and Wava Malbon Metcalf.
