Daniel Seaver, a Revolutionary soldier, from Petersham, Mass., came here in 1796, and located in the western part of the town, on road 23, where he died in 1831, aged seventy-eight years.
James, the fifth of his twelve children, born in 1791, reared seven children, and died here in 1859, aged sixty- eight years. His oldest child, William, born in 1823, is still a resident of the town.
