Maude and her husband Edmund Kemper were both murdered by their grandson, Edmund Kemper, on August 27 at their ranch in North Fork, CA.

Daughter of Henry Hughey and Violet Dodge.∼Fresno Bee 29 Aug 1964: Mother of Robert H. Kemper, Edmund Kemper, Jr., and Raymond C. Kemper. Sister of Albert and George Hughey, Mrs. Barr and Mrs. Appel; 7 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Interment Oakhill Cemetery.
