Gail went home to his Lord December 9, 2008.

He was born in Winchester, Idaho September 16, 1918. He was the youngest of three sisters and two brothers. The family moved to Dishman, Washington, about 1925, after his father's death. Gail attended Dishman Grade School, Libby Jr. High, North Central High and Kinman's Business School.

He went into service in 1939. He served for six years and was a Medical Supply Officer.

Gail's entire working career was as a mechanic at Lincoln Mercury and McCollum Ford. After a badly broken leg he retired in 1982.

He was a long-time member of Christ Lutheran Church. He was an original member of the "Happy Helpers", the fix-it group at church. Gail was preceded in death by his mother, father, sisters, brothers, first wife Dorthea Jenkins, daughters Donna Korn and Judith Anastasi and son-in-law Al Korn. He is survived by grandchildren Keith, Todd, and Andrea Korn, Paul and Lisa Anastasi; great-grandchildren Janelle and Sean Murray and Josh, Caleb, and Isabella Anastasi.

Gail married Fran Wallace August 14, 1993. He inherited another loving family.

Gail will be missed by his family and friends and always dearly loved and remembered.

Family internment Pine's Cemetery, Saturday, February 21st, 2009, at 10 am. Memorial Services following at 11 am at Christ Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway, corner of McDonald. Lunch to follow.

In 1993 Gail married Frances Bess (Martin) Wallace (b. February 7, 1924, Spokane, d. June 15, 2011, Veradale). She was the widow of Joseph William Wallace whom she married June 16, 1946.
