Mrs. Nova Bellamy Bryan, wife of Benny P. Bryan of Aynor died April 14, 1961. Mrs. Bryan was born April 3, 1894, in Brunswick County NC a daughter of the late James S. and Mary Vick Bellamy. She was a member of the Aynor Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service, the American Legion Auxiliary and Aynor Post American Legion. She was a Gold Star mother having lost a son, Rester W. Bryan in World War II. Surviving are her husband; nine sons, J. L. Bryan Galivents Ferry, Carl O. Bryan, Aynor, Beaty B. Bryan and Odell S. Bryan, both of Raleigh NC; Harold R. Bryan Myrtle Beach, Chief Cleo Bryan USN Honolulu HI, PFC Ivy L. Bryan, US Ft. Dix NJ, Harry E. Bryan, Columbia and Ralph L. Bryan Jacksonville FLA; a daughter Mrs. J. R. Jones, Ft. Mill; four brothers A. C. Bellamy, Ernest Bellamy, Drawdy Bellamy, and Otha Bellamy, all of Rt. 1 Ocean Drive; four sisters Mrs. Joe Hughes, Mrs. Ike Hughes and Mrs. Dalton Best all of Asheville NC and Mrs. Joe Parker, Pittsburgh PA.
