Graveside services for Patricia A. Bonds, 79, of Lufkin, will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Mora Baptist Church Cemetery in Mora, Louisiana. Mrs. Bond was born Sept. 14, 1933 and died Jan. 11, 2013. Visitation will be from 4. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Gipson Funeral Home.

Graveside services for Patricia A. Bonds, 79, of Lufkin, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2013 in the Mora Baptist Church Cemetery in Mora, Louisiana. Mrs. Bonds was born September 14, 1933 in San Diego, California, the daughter of the late Alice Josephine (Murphy) and James Oliver Cruse. She passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 in a local hospital. Mrs. Bonds was a homemaker and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved raising her children and spending time with her family. She was kind hearted and was always doing for everyone else. She began working for the Civil Service in 1953 as a stenographer and typist. Mrs. Bonds enjoyed traveling to visit friends and family. She was a member of St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church. Survivors include her son, Greg Bonds of Lufkin; daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Tim Martin of Bullard; grandchildren, Ashley Bonds of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Christopher Bonds of Albany, Louisiana, Bradley Bonds of Lufkin and Stacey Bonds of Lufkin; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Chris Cruse of Poway, California; sister-in-law, Jean Cruse of Ipswich, England; brothers-in-law, Jack Townsend and Jerry Henderson of Corona, California; and a number of nieces, nephews, and other family members. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bonds was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Bonds; 2 infant daughters, Carolyn Bonds and Katherine Bonds; brothers, Charles Cruse and Mike Cruse; and sisters, Mary Henderson, Carol Townsend and Kay Cruse. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Gipson Funeral Home. Condolences may be offered at www.gipsonfuneralhome.com. Services have been placed in the trust of Gipson Funeral Home.
