Mrs. Myrtle Rogers Lanoue, age 85, of Chatsworth passed away on Sunday, December 18, 2011. She was a member of Holly Creek Baptist Church.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her husbands, Walter E. Rogers and Pierre Lanoue; parents, Ethel and Walter Singleton; brothers; and sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Maudie Rogers of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Debbie and Bob Barton of Chatsworth; sisters, Glenda Lappe, Betty Rogers, and Pat Hutto - all of South Carolina; grandchildren, Jill Barton Repp, Mark Rogers, and Jeffrey Barton; great-grandchildren, Alex and Nicholas Repp; nieces; and nephews.
Funeral services for Myrtle will be held at 2:00 p. m. on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Holly Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Danny Cochran officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.
The family will gladly accept flowers or memorial contributions addressed to: Holly Creek Baptist Church, 422 Holly Creek Cool Springs Road, Chatsworth, Georgia 30705.
