Lester Dean
POST FALLS - Visitation for Lester H. Dean, 80, will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Coeur d'Alene Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Dean, who was born in Texas, died Monday. He grew up in Texas and served with the Army during World War II and then lived in Colorado for many years. Mr. Dean later moved to Burley, Idaho, where he lived for eight years and then moved to Post Falls in 1992.
His former wife, Louise, died in 1992.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Joanne; three sons, David Dean of Coeur d'Alene, and Dale and Dennis Dean, both of Spokane; two daughters, Mary Pratt of Athol, Idaho, and Shirley of Spokane; a stepson, Larry Dean of Post Falls; four stepdaughters, Carol Pettibone of Princeton, Idaho, Connie Dean of Post Falls, Deanna Hayes of Coeur d'Alene and Peggy Sweatfield of Twin Falls, Idaho; 10 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
