Ida Estelle Robbins Allen, age 86, died on Tuesday, December 31, 2002. A native of Wilson County, Ida was born on February 16, 1916 to the late Charlie Daniel and Gertie Edwards Robbins. Survivng are her loving husband, Waymouth E. Allen, Sr. of Rocky Mount: daughter, Phyllis Allen ..... ; sons, Waymouth E. Allen, Jr. of .... , and James E. Allen, Sr., of ..... . Also surviving are sisters, Thelma Evans, Iva E. Driver, Margie R. Langley, Nellie Stone, and Frances R. Melvin; brothers, Thomas Edwards Robbins of Sharpsburg and Marvin E. Robbins of Rocky Mount. Mrs. Allen also leaves behind four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held on Friday, January 3, at 2:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, 1912 Sunset Avenue. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery.
