Dan Walker was born November 22, 1925 in Ardmore, OK to Daniel and Ora (Word) Walker. He passed away on Friday, December 23, 2011 at his home at the age of 86.
He grew up in Ardmore and lived in the Oklahoma City and Blanchard area the rest of his life. He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He married Patricia Ann Renwick on February 16, 1947 in Gainsville, Texas. He worked in the construction field most of his life as a bricklayer.
Dan loved golf, trout fishing, and country music. His grandkids considered him a "professional Grandpa".
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Ann Walker on April 21, 2011, his parents; a stepmother, Etta Walker; a Granddaughter, Tiffany Walker; a brother, J.L. Walker.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Koelsch, and her husband, Virgil, of Blanchard, OK
