ELIZABETH IDELA AMBERSON HOLLY was born July 16, 1860 in Blount County, Alabama. She was the tenth of eleven children born to HAZAEL HOLLY and SARAH MORTON HOLLY. Plus, she had 3 step-siblings from her father's first marriage. ELIZABETH's family moved to Texas between May 1862 when her youngest brother, Benjamin, was born and 1864
when her mother, SARAH MORTON, died in Texas.

After her mother died, her father remarried and ELIZABETH had two more step-siblings. In the 1870 census, ELIZABETH is living with her father HAZAEL, her step-mother Milly, her brothers and sisters Martha, Emily, Joel, Lucinda, Benjamin, and a new step-sister, Nancy, near Paris in Lamar County, Texas.

ELIZABETH married ZEBEDIAH D. PAGE on February 27, 1880 in Ellis County, Texas. The 1880 Census shows them living next door to John and Dicy Page. (John was ZEBEDIAH's brother; Dicy was ELIZABETH's sister.) ELIZABETH and ZEBEDIAH had their first child, my grandfather, BENJAMIN FRANKLIN PAGE on January 7, 1881 in Mountain Peak, Ellis County. She died September 22, 1882 in Midlothan, (I'm guessing of childbirth) and is buried at the Mountain Peak Cemetery. (Interstate 35 to US 67. On the south side of Midlothian, exit US 287 Business South into Midlothian. Just across the railroad tracks past downtown, turn right on FM 663 (also 9th St). After 5 miles, this will dead end into FM 875. Turn right. The Cemetery is just over one mile west, past Hopewell Baptist Church.)
