A.G. Alexander, 84, of Georgetown, Texas died December 11, 2008. He was born on June 17, 1924 in El Dorado, Arkansas to Andrew Gathor and Caroline Alexander. His survivors included a sister Barbara Doan, a brother Jim Alexander, a sister-in-law Lydia Alexander and many nieces and nephews.
He served in the Navy, World War II, and is "A Pearl Harbor" survivor. A. G. retired from Seafarers International Union after 40 years of service as a Merchant Marine. In his retirement years his hobby was baking cakes for special occasions.
Memorial service celebrating A. G.'s life was held December 13, 2008 at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Hokme in Georgetown, Texas with Minister Tim Curtis of Church of Christ, Georgetown, Texas officating. Burial was in Mendiola's Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
