PORTAGE - Mrs. Ellzebeth Ann Naylor Allen, 72, of Portage, wife of Joseph D. Allen, died yesterday in the Oneida County Hospital in Malad, Idaho. Mrs. Allen had been a Relief Society teacher in the LDS Portage Ward. Sha was born Nov, 20, 1884, in Almy, Wyo., a daughter of Charles and Elizabelh Ann Scothern Naylor. When she was a chlld the family moved to Providence, where she was reared and educated. On May 22, 1906, she was married to Mr. Allen ln Providence. The couple received endowments in the LDS Logan Temple on Sept. 20, 1920. They had resided in Portage since their marriage. Surviving are her husband, nine sons and daughters, Ellis L. AIlen, Portage; John W. Allen, Riverside; Mrs. Ray (Edna) Tippets, Ralph L. Allen, Ogden; Mrs. Eugene (Fay) Bingham, K. Leon Allen, Roy; Golden L. Allen, Centerville; Mrs. Newell (Hazel) Udy, Joseph C. AIIen, Salt Lake City; 46 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, the foIIowing brothers and sisters: Mrs. AIlen (Grace) Davis, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Allen Cooper, Providence; Ishmael and Hyrum Naylor, Logan; Mrs. George (Jane) Dunbar, Mrs. Jack (Lillie) Trappett, Charles Naylor, Ogden; Wilford Naylor, Burbank, Callf. Another son was kllled during World War II. FuneraI services wlll be conducted Monday at noon in the LDS PortageWard by Bishop Walter Gibbs. Friends may call at the Rogers Mortuary in Tremonton Sunday trom 6 to 9 p.m. and at the ward Relief Society room Monday from 10 a m. until services. Burial in the Portage Cemetery.
