Elizabeth was a British Home Child who came to Canada on 1923-07-21 brought by the Catholic Emigration Society. Elizabeth was brought to the St. George's Home in Ottawa. On the 1911 Census Elizabeth is found living as an lodger at 151 /153 Stafford St Wolverhampton. There is a Julia & David Onions and a child Flora born in 1906 listed as well who are probably her family. The structure of the census however, does not state this clearly. Julia died in 1929 of Tuberculosis.
