OBITUARY - "Oshkosh Northwestern"
Published July 1, 1941

John Walter Banderob, 66, retired furniture maker in this city for a number of years, died this morning at 9 o'clock at his residence at 457 Ceape street. Death followed a heart attack. He had been in failing health for some time.

Mr. Banderob was born in Oshkosh, Nov. 28, 1874, the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. John A. Banderob. As a young man he became associated with his father's firm known as the Banderob & Chase Furniture company. He worked there until ill health forced him to retire about 11 years ago.

Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Theresa Banderob; three daughters, Ruth and Aline of Oshkosh and Mrs. Roy Hinderman of Denver, Colo.; three sisters, Mrs. Olga Heider, New York, Mrs. Sterling Steele, Berlin, Wis., and Mrs. Edward Lauson of Oshkosh; two brothers, Leo A Banderob of Oshkosh and George I. Banderob of Madison and a number of nieces and hephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Spikes & McDonald funeral home. Interment will be at Lake View Memorial park. Friends may call at the funeral home tomoorow evening until the hour of services.
