As a young woman, in the early 1880's, Annie Freitag boarded in Philidelphia and worked as a segar maker, as did two of her brothers over the next few decades.
Annie married Leopold Weintz, whose family lived in Camden, NJ having emigrated from Birmingham, Warwichshire, England when Leopold was about 8 years old.
Annie and Leopold had one child: George William Weintz in 1882. Son, George moved to Brooklyn, NY in the first few years of the new century, where married, Johanna C. Bostlemann. They resided there and were buried/interred at Greenwood Cem. in Brooklyn.
Annie died of a small-pox related illness at age 37. She was survived by her then, 13-year old son, George and husband, Leopold, age 41, who later died in 1912.
