Strum (special) - Oscar O. Romundstad, 89, of Strum, died Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Donald Fischer, in the Town of Hale.
He was born November 23, 1878 in the Town of Clear Creek, Eau Claire County, and married Ragda Rindal on Feb. 13, 1913. They lived in Eau Claire, where he worked for International Harvester Co. until 1924, when they returned to the farm in Clear Creek.
He is survived by his wife [Ragna Rindal Romundstad]; four daughters, Mrs. Ingvald [Ruth] Myhers and Mrs. Don [Jeanette] Fischer, both of Strum; Mrs. Eugene [Arline] Miller, Crookston, Minn.; and Mrs. Lester [Virginia] Wold, Eau Claire; one son, Hardin of Strum; two brothers, Goodwin of Strum, and Millard of Eau Claire; 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Funeral serviced will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Strum Lutheran Church at the Strum Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Luther Monson officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.
