NEW BOSTON, TEXAS- Johnnie A. Beck , age 91 of New Boston, Texas passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 in a local nursing facility.
Mr. Beck was born July 6, 1920 in Prescott, Arkansas.
He was a retired Naval Ship Welder, loved spending time with his family, farming, raising livestock, fishing and waving at the tax payers as they drive by.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas and Venus Beck.
Survivors include his wife, Ethel Beck of New Boston, Texas, two sons Johnnie William Beck of Napa, California, Johnnie Carlton Beck of Simms, Texas, one daughter, Jeaninne C. Walker of New Boston, Texas, one step daughter, Addie Shannon of New Boston, Texas, one stepson, O'Neal Runnels of New Boston, Texas, grandchildren, Jonelle Raffino, Jonna Lewis, Eric Penny, Brandi Ward, Stephene Johnson, Ryan Beck, Carly Beck, David D. Shannon, three great grandsons, six great granddaughters and a number of other relatives and friends.
Interment: Red Bayou Cemetery, New Boston under the direction of Bates-Rolf, New Boston.
