Lucian Cole
Lucian C. Cole, 81, of Ashland, died Wednesday at his home following a long illness. Mr. Cole was born Feb 19, 1909, in Lee County, a son of the late Medley S. and Minnie Frandces Couch Cole. His wife, Evelyn Fitch Cole, died in 1989. He was a retired repairmen in the maintenance department at Armco Steel Co and was a member of the Blackburn Avenue Missionary Baptist Church. Surviving are a brother, Frank Edward Cole of Russell; and two sisters, Della Cole Cox of Westwood and Ruhama Cole of Ashland. The funeral will be conducted at 1pm Friday at the Lazear Funeral Home by the Rev. Ron Riley. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 620 16th St, Ashland, KY 41101
