Moira-The many friends of the Peets family sympathize with them deeply in the loss of their aged mother, Mrs. Thomas Peets, who passed away Monday morning after a lingering illness, aged 82 years. She was a woman of great kindness, sympathy and hospitality, who was affectionately known as "Grandma Peets" to all her acquaintances in this community and will be deeply missed by all. Her life was one of helpfulness and worth.
The funeral takes place Wednesday morning from St. Mary's church, Brushton, Rev. Father O'Reilly, of Hogansburg officiating in the absence of the pastor.
Deceased is survived by seven children: David of Belleville, Ont.; Mrs. John McCullough, Mrs. Agnes Welch, John, William, Albert and Mary Peets, all of Moira. The latter had given her mother devoted care during her long illness. Two sisters and a brother also survive.
