This is my aunt Lila who died in 1970. I never really had a chance to know her because she lived in Cleveland Ohio, Seattle, Washington before moving back to Charlotte, North Carolina. Before her death, she worked for the Mecklenburg County department of Social Works. My aunt married William Edward Tench in July 1946 and had 3 children, Melanie, Brian, and Doug Tench. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Mays Milton Barnett Sr. & Vannie James Barnett.
