Fredia Lee Woodard, 61, died June 8, 1992 at her resident in Ingleside on the Bay, TX, following a lengthy illness. She was born August 31, 1920 in Wellington.

She was a member of Bayview Baptist Church, Ingleside where she had been a resident since 1956.

She graduated from Wellington High School with the Class of 1947, attended Wayland Baptist College, Plainview and received a masters degree as a reading specialist from the University of Corpus Christi.

She married Jess Henry Woodard, Jr., June 19, 1950 in Plainview. She was an elementary school teacher for 2 years in Hart; 3 years in Idalou and 32 years in Ingleside. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and the Retired Teachers Association.

She is survived by her husband, Jess Henry, of the home; her mother, Alta Mabery Blasingame of Ingleside; 3 sons, Jess Robert Woodard, Rex William Woodard and Jamie Woodard, all of Aransas Pass; 2 brothers, Wallace Blasingame of Fairbanks, AK and Rev. Dee Blasingame of Ingleside and 2 sisters, Naomi Wilson and Doris Rogers, both of Amarillo.
