Mrs. Eunice Mae Manning, 82 of Fayetteville, passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at her home.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 18 at Briar Branch Baptist Church in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Bradley Tatum officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Manning was born in Bladen County on December 27, 1932 to Fred H. and Wilma Smith McMillian. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Henry G. Manning; a daughter, Janice Elledge; sister, Wilda Gray White; and three brothers, Richard McMillian, Shorty McMillian and Earl McMillian. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Manning of Fayetteville, Rita Zawadzki of West Chester, IL and Wanda Spivey of Lillington; one son, Toby Collins of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Judy Cashwell of White Oak and Taylor Ann Rounsaville of Ft. Bragg; three brothers, Rudell McMillian of Elizabethtown, Fred McMillian, Jr. of Fayetteville and Alton McMillian of Mississippi; nine grandchildren, Erica Wynn, Kristol Wicket, Chad Wicket, Jaime Keller, Cynthia Meyers, Dewayne Collins, Jennifer Collins, Patty Riley, and Travis Collins; fourteen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home.
