Viola Jean Graves, 74, of Chillicothe, died 3 p.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, in Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. She was born July 8, 1937, in Ross County, to the late Elijah and Roberta Marie Chandler Kohn.
Surviving are sons, Gregory Eugene Graves, of Chillicothe and Brian Russell Graves, of Ray; grandchildren, Chelsea Marie Graves, Jeremy E. Graves, Matthew L. Graves and Sarah Graves; great grandchildren, Hudson and Perrin Graves and Madison and Adriana Strickler; a brother, Clyde Kohn, of Circleville; a sister, Mary Kohn, of Kingston; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James Russell Graves who died April 27, 1977.
She was a retired Optician.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
