Sarah was the first born daughter of two, Catherine Mae, and a son, Rufus G. to Rufus and Miranda Jane Dodge Aubrey.
Rufus Sr. was the son of Charles and Sarah Ann Orkins/White Aubrey.
Miranda 'Myra' was the daughter of Abraham and Mary M. Rhodes Dodge.
20 Nov 1892 Rutland VT Sarah married Fred H. Piper, son of David A. and Mary E. Bruce Piper.
Their marriage was blessed with six daughters, Gladys Ethel, Beatrice May, Sadie R., Norma L., Cassandra M., and Virginia, and two sons, Maurice Earle Sr. and Frederick L. Sr.
Mrs. Piper was a most estimable woman and was held in highest respect by all who knew her.
