Beloved brother of Irene Maternowsky, Charlotte G. Anderson, Louise E. Alcott & Lois L. Johnson. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services at MUELLER-BIES FUNERAL HOME EAST CHAPEL, 650 N. Dale at Blair on Wednesday, April 12 at 1 pm Internment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation from 3-8 pm Tuesday. Veteran of World War II.

Bill served in the United States Army during World War II an was awarded the following Citations: American Theater Service Ribbon
European - African - Middle Eastern Theater
Service Ribbon, with Two (2) Bronze Stars
Good Conduct Medal
