Johnny Otis Cabe, 88, of Tucumcari died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003 in Amarillo, Texas.
He was born Dec. 23, 1917 in Lincoln. He was retired from the Pot Ash Mines near Carlsbad. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church of Tucumcari.
Surviving Mr. Cabe was his son Otis Lee Cabe of Seaback, Wash. Grandchildren Gary, Richard and Wendy Jennings. He is preceded in death by his wife Vada who died in 1985. Also surviving is his special friend and companion Margaret Waterfield of Tucumcari.
Funeral services will be Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the Dunn Memorial Chapel. Rev. Fred Caton, minister of the Trinity Baptist Church will officiate.
Interment will be in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
