Survived combat on the single bloodiest day of the Civil War (and American History) at the Battle of Antietam on September 17, 1862.

Died at Aquia Creek, VA. Similar deaths were later reinterred to Fredericksburg National Cemetery, where 80% of the identities (like this one) are unknown.
