Charles Robert "Bob" Kreischer, 78, of 7184 Minoa-Bridgeport Road, East Syracuse, died Friday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital after a long illness.
A native of Buffalo, Mr. Kreischer lived 35 years in Florida before moving to East Syracuse three years ago. He retired in 1976 as a master machinist after 15 years with Honeywell Corp., St. Petersburg, Fla.
Surviving are his wife, Arlene Kathryn; a son, Carl J. of Minoa; a daughter, Carol DiStaolo [sic; DiStaola] of East Syracuse; several grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
