Leland Ray Bergdall, 81, of Moorefield, died Feb. 3, at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Va.
Born Oct. 13, 1921, in Rough Run, he was the son of the late Silas Edward Bergdall and Ella Mae (Propst) Bergdall.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary (Alt) Bergdall; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Carl Burgess of Moorefield and Sara and Bob Faulk of Chantilly, Va.; one sister, Erslie Sites of Petersburg; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Robert and Katie Faulk and David Faulk; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Feb. 7, at Elmore Funeral Home chapel, Moorefield, with interment in the Kline Cemetery, Upper Tract. (2/25)
