Surviving are her mother, Twanta Brown of Soper; her father Lafayett Herrin of Derider, La.; three brothers, Danta, Lacraig and Phillip Johnson of Soper; five stepbrothers, DaWaylon Rainey of Hugo, Marcus Mitchell of Hugo, Jerone and Morgan Herrin of Derider, Jereal Herrin of Anniston, Ala.; four sisters, Tamekia Jones, Keyona, Rekia and Nike Johnson, all of Soper; a stepsister, Makeil Mitchell of Paris; grandmothers, Naomi Curry of Soper, Mary Tolbert of Victorville, Calif. and a grandfather, Ivory Herrin of Victorville.
