PASSED AWAY FRIDAY
"G. Arndt, aged 63, died at his home last Friday, following a long illness from a complication of diseases. The funeral was held Monday afternoon from the Evangelical Lutheran church, Rev. H.A. Nuoqer officiating, and burial was made in Pine Grove Cemetery. The deceased is survived by his wife, son, Ed Arndt of Cass Lake, and daughters, Mesdames Eichberg and Nuremberg [sic] and a son and daughter of Cleveland, Ohio, who were here to attend the funeral."
Some of his grandchildren are buried near him.
