Daniel Eugene Armstrong, age 59, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2001. Daniel was born on October 9, 1941 the son of Jesse Robert and Violet Gwendolyn McCullogh Armstrong in Roscoe, Nebraska. Dan was a member of the Young-at-Heart Choir and the Christian Motorcycle Association. Dan worked for the Bureau of Land Management before his death. Dan was preceded in death by his brother, Jason. Dan is survived by his parents, Bob and Vi Armstrong of Albuquerque, three daughters, Dannell Anderson and her husband, David, Heather Smith and her husband, Dan and Angala Lopez and her husband, Ray, one sister, Gwen Noyes and her husband, Ken, four grandchildren, Kyle, Stephen, Shawn and Samantha. A Memorial Service will be held for Dan on Thursday, March 1, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. at the Faith Evangelical Free Church, 900 Southern Blvd., Rio Rancho, with Pastor Tom Lambelet officiating. Interment will be at Vista Verde Memory Park.
