Mrs. Tillie Koch, 81, of Brillion, passed away at 10 p.m. Saturday at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Leon Abel, 512 S. 26th Street, Manitowoc.
Nee Gadicke, she was born Dec. 15, 1873, in Germany, the daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gadicke. As a child she came to America with her parents.
On Feb. 24, 1903, she was married to Julius Koch at Brillion.
She was a member
of the Evangelical and Reformed church, Brillion, and the Woman's Guild.
Survivors include one son, Ralph, of West Bend; one daughter, Mrs. Leon (Isabelle)
Abel, of Manitowoc; two grandchildren; one brother, Edward Gadicke of Brillion;
and two sisters, Mrs. Martha Krusinske of Appleton and Mrs. Henry Wegforth of
Manitowoc.
Her husband passed away in 1923 and one daughter, Beulah, who passed away in 1928,
also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, at the Evangelical and
Reformed church, Brillion. The Rev. Ralph Kluge will officiate and burial will
be made in the Evergreen cemetery, Manitowoc.
The body will lie in state at the Luecker Funeral home, Brillion, until 10:30 a.m.
Tuesday, when it will be removed to the church.
